Thomas Koch fotografiert seit 2008 für runnersworld.de. Der 31-jährige Bürokaufmann arbeitet in einem großen deutschen Sportunternehmen und ist selbst begeisterter Läufer. Er hat eine eigene Homepage und ist ein begeisterter Ruhrpottler durch und durch. Daher findet man seinen Namen auch unter besonders vielen Bildergalerien aus der Ruhrgebiets-Region.

Aktiver Läufer ist er seit gut 13 Jahren und kennt alle Distanzen zwischen 5 km und Marathon aus eigenem Erleben, wobei die kurzen Distanzen ihm mehr liegen.
